Waiting Patiently

Molly really looks forward to 3:15 every day. She loves greeting her kids.

Isn't it amazing how they develop that sense of time? I bet the kids can't wait to see her!

(thanks for continued prayers; still needed :)

I now have 2 in college and a junior in high school who is so eager to stop riding the bus and to drive instead. She will get her license in a few weeks, but we're holding off on letting her drive to school until next semester or 12th grade... we'll see...

Anyway, I'm rambling. I really just wanted to say how sentimental the yellow buses still make me. When kids are lined up at the stops getting on in the mornings and happily getting off in the afternoons, I think of how precious childhood is.

Thanks for sharing Molly and giving me a smile. (I'm very inconsistent with visiting blogs these days, but always nice to spontaneously stop by.)

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
