Stunningly gorgeous. Wow. Same day as the header picture? I just love those on so many levels - nature, family, peace. All fabulous.

Very cool!

Plus, can I tell you how much I love Harry Connick Jr.? I might just keep your blog open on the kitchen counter for awhile. Dancing to wink and a smile in my kitchen! :)

I love pictures where people are not looking directly at the camera. I love how you can tell that is is you and the kids though.
I don't get many pictures of me with the kids. I have a extremely awesome camera that my husband can't even get the automatic focus to work (it user error, believe me).

Cara- I hear ya. I usually have NO pictures of me and the boys unless I specifically ask the hubby to take some. I had to basically set my hubby up and tell him exactly what I wanted for these shots. He did a great job on them though, and he was much more patient with the camera then he normally is. I was very happy with the pics. :)

I love the colors in the sunset. The sunsets were one of the many reasons I wanted desperately to move back to W. Michigan - so now I actually need to get myself to the beach!

This one is worth maybe a couple thousand words. The serenity is well-communicated. All of us that carry a camera would love to pass by and capture this moment.

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
